Day’s Diary |
|
Frank Day is our UKIP candidate for Cheam in the forthcoming by-election on 28 February 2008. Frank is a long-time resident of the borough, having lived here for over 30 years. Frank is 62 years old and is employed as an accountant. His hobbies are reading, chess, and politics. Frank is honoured to represent UKIP at this election, as he says "UKIP offer a fresh and new start for the electorate. The old 3 party politics has failed to produce any positive results over the years, and it's a vital chance for the electorate of Cheam to make history at this election. I will give 100% commitment to the people of Cheam and fight their corner all the way”.

“Having been a member of UKIP for several years I am even more convinced that UKIP is the way forward.
This Sceptered Isle pays a net contribution of 50 billion pounds a year to the EU. I cannot help but believe that our financial resources should be directed towards our police, our NHS, crime fighting and immigration rather than the petty EU rules such as the curve of a banana recently deliberated by the unelected bureaucrats in the EU.
I would rather the police were paid the proper rate for doing their job, that money was devoted to the NHS, and that the 600,000 illegal immigrants (govt figures) were repatriated.
Now is the time to vote UKIP—we have a strong and high profile leader in Nigel Farage.
UKIP is the party of the future — your future and your children’s future!”
